Generations together in one frame, even from separate photos.
It's rare to have everyone in one place, and rarer to have a good photo of it. A painted portrait doesn't need one. We can bring people together from up to five photos, so a brother abroad or a grandparent no longer with you can stand with the family.
Your artist sends a composition sketch first, so you can see who sits where and ask for any change before any paint is applied.
Larger sizes suit a family best. A 24 × 36 in canvas fits up to six people and is large enough to anchor a living room wall.

The room is computer-generated, shown at about true scale. The portrait is a real painting from our studio.

- Approve the sketchPay 50% to begin. Your artist sends a composition sketch in two or three days. Ask for changes within your brief.
- Approve the portraitSee progress photos and a final preview, with unlimited revisions within your brief. Pay the balance after you approve it.
- Receive it, insuredWe inspect, pack and ship it, signed by your artist, with a certificate of authenticity.

Can you add someone who wasn't in the photo?
Yes. Send a separate photo of them and we'll paint them into the group. We can combine up to five photos.
How many people fit on one canvas?
It depends on the size: 16 × 20 in fits up to three people, 24 × 36 in fits up to six and 36 × 48 in fits up to ten. Every size is listed on the Prices page.
Can you include our pets?
Yes. A pet counts as one extra person.
