There's no sitting and nobody has to stay still: we paint from your photos. A clear daylight photo with sharp eyes works best, and a phone photo is fine.
Watercolour suits children particularly well for its lightness. Oil gives more depth, and it's a good choice for brothers and sisters together.

- Approve the sketchPay 50% to begin. Your artist sends a composition sketch in two or three days. Ask for changes within your brief.
- Approve the portraitSee progress photos and a final preview, with unlimited revisions within your brief. Pay the balance after you approve it.
- Receive it, insuredWe inspect, pack and ship it, signed by your artist, with a certificate of authenticity.
Good to know
Do you need a professional photo?
No. A phone photo is fine if the face is sharp when you zoom in. Daylight works best.
Can you paint brothers and sisters together from separate photos?
Yes. We can combine up to five photos in one portrait.
Do you keep my child's photos?
Your photos are seen only by your artist and the team who check the portrait, and they're deleted within 30 days of delivery unless you ask us to keep them.
